(BGO) – The Association of Young Entrepreneurs in the northern province of Bac Giang held a get-together on February 8 on the occasion of traditional Lunar New Year 2017.
The branches of the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam (Vietcombank) and the Vietnam Bank for Investment and Development (BIDV) in Bac Giang pledged to provide preferential loans to local enterprises and young entrepreneurs.
The event was attended by Vice Chairwoman of the provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Thi Thu Ha and leaders of the Departments of Industry and Trade, Planning and Investment and the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union’s chapter in Bac Giang.
With nearly 200 members, the association has worked hard to widely disseminate the Party’s policies and the State’s laws in the community and actively joined social and charitable activities.
Connections between the association and its counterparts in other localities nationwide have been promoted. The association has also served as a bridge connecting with public administrative agencies and the province’s leaders, thus helping solve difficulties facing local enterprises.
With the motto “all activities targeting members and protecting legitimate rights of members”, the association set out specific action programmes, and organise exchanges in order to help its members further develop production and business.
Speaking at the function, Vice Chairwoman of the provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Thi Thu Ha praised local young entrepreneurs for their recent achievements, affirming that they have made important contributions to the province’s socio-economic development.
Considering enterprises as a pillar for development, the provincial People’s Committee always creates favorable conditions for local enterprises’ operations, she noted.
Ha suggested young entrepreneurs continue upholding the spirit of start-up, activeness and creativeness to step up production and business, thereby bringing benefits to themselves as well as the State and society.
The association should continue serving as a bridge among businesses and between enterprises and State management agencies in order to timely address difficulties facing enterprises and young entrepreneurs, the official added.
On this occasion, a number of cooperation agreements were signed between enterprises and banks. Accordingly, the branches of the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam (Vietcombank) and the Vietnam Bank for Investment and Development (BIDV) in Bac Giang pledged to provide preferential loans to local enterprises and young entrepreneurs./.
