Bac Giang holds conference themed “Businesswomen grasp oppoturnity, overcome challenge”

(BGO) – The Businesswomen’s Association in the northern province of Bac Giang has recently held a conference themed “Businesswomen grasp the opportunity, overcome challenge” on the anniversary of Vietnam Businessmen Day (October 13) and Vietnamese Womens’ Day (October 20).

The event was attended by Duong Van Thai, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, Chairman of the provincial Business Association (PBA); Nguyen Thi Tuyet Minh, Chairwoman of Vietnamese Women Entrepreneurs Council (VWEC), leaders of several department and sectors.

Established in 2011, the provincial Businesswomen’s Association now has nearly 200 members. It always takes the role of collecting and exchanging the experiences to help each other in enhancing the efficiency of production and business so as to create regular jobs to more than 1,000 laborers. Meanwhile, its members have actively participated in charitable and humanitarian activities.

At the conference, the female entrepreneurs exchanged on startup knowledge, enterprises’ management experience, product introduction promotion as well as proposed several measures to solve the difficulties and obstacles to boost up production, trading and enhance women’s role in society.

Addressing at the event, Vice Chairman Duong Van Thai and VWEC leader highly appreciated and congratulated the gained results of the provincial Businesswomen’s Association as well as shared with the difficulties and challenges in life and work of the enterprises’ female owners.

The representative of Women’s Union and Businesswomen's Association in Bac Giang province grants the certificate of merit to the outstanding collectives.

Vice Chairman Thai pressed that the local authority always accompanies with them and issues many solutions to create the favorable condition to the businesses and cooperatives in general and provincial female entrepreneurs in particular to have development chance.

Besides, he hoped that the businesswomen will continue developing their strength, affirming the prestige and trademark to improve the enterprises’ competitiveness in the market, greatly contributing to the provincial socio-economy growth.
