(BGO)- The working delegation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs headed by Nguyen Dang Thang, Vietnamese Consulate General to Sydney, Australia on 16 November had a meeting with leaders of the Departments of Industry and Trade, Foreign Affairs and Agriculture and Rural Development of Bac giang province. Tran Quang Tan, Director of the provincial Department of Industry and Trade hosted the meeting.
At the meeting, Tran Quang Tan briefed the guests on potentials and strengths of Bac Giang province and cooperative opportunities with Australian market and partners.

In recent years, Bac Giang has seen comprehensive and dynamic development which has been in top group nationwide in economic growth rate with integrated traffic system (including roadway, railway, waterway and airway) convenient for trade connection in the region and internationally and fostering industrial, agricultural, tourism and service development to become an attractive investment destination.
At the meeting, the participants requested the Vietnamese Consulate General to Sydney, Australia to support Bac Giang in promoting its potentials, advantages and investment opportunities to Australian partners. Besides, they hoped the Consulate General to support enhancing capacity of Bac Giang’s farming companies through technology transfer from Australian enterprises, experience sharing in high-tech farming, agricultural and forestry processing and trademark establishment so that the province’s farm products can approach Australian market.
In addition, he was expected to introduce Australian investors to the province while fostering cultural exchange and establishing friendly relationships with localities in Australia.
Speaking the event, Nguyen Dang Thang, the Vietnamese Consulate General to Sydney stressed, Bac Giang province has enormous opportunities for cooperation with Australia when the Australian government is paying great attention to Vietnam.
In coming time, the province needs to focus on linkages in agricultural development and establishing tourism products with connected tours and routines. As the Vietnamese Consulate General to Sydney, Australia, he will pay attention to introducing Bac Giang to Australian partners and investors.
