(BGO) - In order to develop modern and synchronous infrastructure and facilitate the expansion of local urban areas, in 2021, the People's Committee of Tan Yen district will invest in building two new roads connecting industrial clusters and creating space for urban development in the northwest of Cao Thuong township.
Specifically, the first road linking National Highway 17 and provincial road 298 will create space for development of the Dong Dinh and Lang Cao industrial clusters in Cao Xa commune with a length of more than 1.2km and a width of 40m. Its asphalt-concrete surface measures 14m. Total investment is estimated at over 50 billion VND (2.17 million USD).

The second one connecting National Highway 17 and the Dong Chu and Dong Cau urban areas in Cao Thuong township. It is 0.5km long, 20.5m wide, with its asphalt-concrete surface measuring 10.5 m. Its construction is projected to cost more than 20 billion VND (868, 614 USD).
Nguyen Viet Toan, Chairman of the district People's Committee, said that along with mobilizing local resources, the district has proposed the province provide a budget to cover part of the construction cost. The projects are expected to be completed and put into use by the end of 2021.
