This is an automatic vehicle. The user only needs to set the amount of pesticides and install a map featuring the area to be sprayed on the smartphone, the drone will automatically find the target area and then return to the starting point after completing the mission.

After watching the demonstration of the drone pesticide-spraying technology on rice and lychee in Thung Thinh village, Bien Dong commune, delegates assessed that this is a new technology that locates flying coordinates and displays effective spraying for many crops in different types of terrain.

With centrifugal spraying technology, the drone makes the solution particles disperse evenly and completely penetrate into the stem and leaves, without affecting the soil, so the efficiency is much higher than conventional spraying.

According to a representative of the Sub-Department of Cultivation and Plant Protection, this technology helps to spray pesticides on a large scale, thus reducing labor costs, and minimising environmental pollution. It also increases the efficiency of pest control and is suitable for large-scale concentrated production.

At the workshop, a leader of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development suggested that districts and city pay attention to building demonstration models to replicate in the next crops on plants such as rice, lychee, orange, custard apple and vegetables... In the immediate future, the drone technology will be applied on rice and lychee in concentrated cultivation areas, large-scale fields, and production areas for export.

The Bac Giang Agricultural Technical Materials Joint Stock Company will soon receive technology transfer and prepare a team of highly-skilled workers with good knowledge about pests and diseases, staying ready to serve farmers with the lowest price with a view to helping them step by step change farming practices.
