(BGO) – The revamping and upgrading project of national road No.17 from Nha Nam town (Yen The district, Bac Giang province) to Phon Xuong town (Yen The district) totally stretches about 5.3km with road bed of 12m, surface of 11m that suits to third grade delta road standard upon completion.
However, the site work has yet to be done in Yen The district due to several electricity, telecommunication, water and lighting power items are not be removed.

To handle the issues, the district People’s Committee approved for the programme to remove the lighting power system with total length of 1.8 km, including several items of removing 37 light poles within the scope of expanded road to other position, reclaiming nearly 1.8 km of hanging cable, installing 54 new 150W LED lights...Total investment hit over 1.5 billion VND (66,200 USD).
Besides, the district has cooperated with the telecommunication and power businesses to promptly remove the items so as to create plane for construction. Regarding the local households, Yen The district completed listing, counting the land together with assets and compensation amount for the site clearance of nearly 5.3 billion VND to 88 families.
The revamping and upgrading project of national road No.17 from Nha Nam town to Phon Xuong town was invested nearly 65 billion VND from the provincial budget with the Department of Construction as investor.
The Department targets to pave the road, complete the whole route in early February 2022 (before Lunar New Year 2022), three month shortened comparing to the construction contract.
