(BGO) – The Ministry of Information and Communication (MoIC) has announced the assessment report of digital transformation index (DTI) at national, ministerial and provincial levels in 2020.
Accordingly, Da Nang city topped the provincial DTI ranking in 2020, followed by Thua Thien Hue and Bac Ninh provinces. Bac Giang province rank ten out of 63 provincies and cities in 2020 provincial DTI in which digital government placed seventh position, digital economy 14th and society 25th.

Basing on the DTI at the ministerial and provincial levels in 2020, the MoIC evaluated and rank the digital transformation level in 2020 of the ministries, ministry-level agencies, Government-run agencies and centrally-run cities and provinces in 2020. It was the first year that the MoIC had assessed the DTI ranking.
Particularly, the provincial DTI was assessed by 1,000 points for three main pillars of digital government, digital economy and digital society. Each consists of seven major indicators of Perception change, Institution formulation, Digital infrastructure development, Digital platform development, digital information and data base, digital transformation performance, cyber safety and security assurance, human resource training and development.
It aimed to provide a panorama picture on the digital transformation situation in the provinces, cities and nation during implementation of National digital transformation programme.
