Bac Giang issues Digital transformation plan in 2022

(BGO) – The People’s Committee in Bac Giang province has issued Plan No.5755/KH-UBND on November 2, 2021 about digital transformation in Bac Giang province in 2022.

The Plan specifies general goal to continue maintaining and enhancing quality of recently achieved criteria to gradually complete assigned tasks at Resolution No.433-NQ/TU of the provincial Party Committee (PPC)’s Standing Board and PPC’s Resolution No.111-NQ/TU; build and develop electronic and digital government in Bac Giang province generally, comprehensively; build and develop digital economy and society to change the management and business model of enterprises, working and living style of people to create new values for society.

Bac Giang lychees are sold at e-commerce platform.

To realize the above target, the PPC’s Plan works out groups of specific task and solution, including: (1) to complete legal environment for digital transformation; (2) to develop digital infrastructure; (3) to develop data base and system; (4) to develop applications and services; (5) to ensure information security; (6) develop digital economy; (7) to develop digital society; (8) to implement digital transformation in priority fields of medical, education and training, natural resources and environment, planning and investment...; (9) to develop information technology human resources.

Basing on the PPC’s Plan, the departments, organizations under the People’s Committee in the province, districts and city should make their own plan of digital transformation and actively raise the responsible spirit, strict leadership and management to implement the tasks and full fill the target on information technology application, digital transformation to successfully build “digital organization” at all sectors and levels.

The provincial budget will be mobilized to provide the cost to the departments and sectors while the organizations at provincial, district and city levels should actively arrange at least two percent of total budget expenditure to implement the digital transformation task in 2022.

Bac Giang targets to have 1,500 digital technology and digital businesses by 2030

(BGO) – It is the target set in the Plan No.547.KH-UBND on October 28, 2021 of the People’s Committee in Bac Giang province (PPC) about developing digital technology and digital businesses in Bac Giang in the period 2021 – 2025 with the vision to 2030.
