(BGO) – As of November 11, 2021, Bac
Giang province had 116 products of One Commune One Product Programme (OCOP)
upgraded to four star from three star product including 34 four star (29.31
percent) and 82 three star ones (70.69 percent). It helped the province rank
third in Northern mountainous region (only after Ha Giang and Bac Kan provinces)
and twelfth nationwide.
Amid numerous difficulties caused by Covid-19 pandemic in 2021, 61 products in Bac Giang province have been evaluated and classified at least three star OCOP products. High rate of cooperatives registered to evaluate their OCOP products, accounting for 82.86 percent.

Most of products in the list for evaluation are signature, potential and key produce from localities such as Nghia Phuong custard apple (Luc Nam district), Chu rice noodle (Luc Ngan district), Son Dong honey, Lang Giang mushroom…
The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development has instructed and urged localities to implement OCOP Programme, strive to have 30 three star OCOP products in 2022 and upgrade several registered products, including at least one national five star product.

E-commerce platforms support farmers to consume OCOP products(BGO) – Now the lychee season ends, some

supporting the farmers in Bac Giang province to sell various farm prodce. Most of
the products are One Commune One Product (OCOP) like Chu rice noodle, Yen Dung
fragrant rice, dried lychee, Son Dong wild honey...
Summer OCOP Fair to open in Ha Long city on April 28The One Commune One Product (OCOP) fair - Summer 2021 is planned to be launched on April 28 at the Quang Ninh Exhibition of Planning and Expo Center in Ha Long city, according to the provincial OCOP Steering Board.

of Agriculture and Rural Development) in Bac Giang province, now the province
has 95 OCOP products, 50 percents of
which are sold at several supermarkets of Big C, Co.op Mart, Fivimart, Vinmart,
Vinmart+, Aone, Hapro...and many convenient stores, safe food stores in the
provinces and cities across the country.
Bac Giang optimizes OCOP sale points(BGO) - In 2020, the Bac Giang provincial People's Committee supported five One Commune One Product (OCOP) product display and sale points in some districts and Bac Giang city. Currently, these points are operating quite effectively, step by step meeting the set objectives.
