(BGO)- Duong Van Thai, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee (PPC), and Head of the province’s delegation of the National Assembly deputies on February 10 inspected implementation of some traffic and construction projects.
After grasping the situation and site inspection, the PPC Secretary stressed, these are significant traffic routes with high connection and making great effect on socio-economic development and investment attraction of the province and districts. Thus, the districts of Viet Yen, Tan Yen, Lang Giang, Hiep Hoa and Yen The need to promptly complete land clearance and resolve remaining obstacles.

The contractors were urged to start construction right after receiving ground, speed up the progress and ensure quality. The construction period of the projects should be shortened by at least 6 months against the signed contracts to soon bring the construction works into use to boost socio-economic development.
The related departments and agencies were urged to support the investors and districts in procedures and dossiers in accordance with law and regulations.
On the same day, Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Le Anh Duong inspected and directed production in Tan Yen district.
After visiting some projects and fruit growing areas, he praised for effective leadership of the local government, great efforts of local people in production and contractors.
He requested the local government to urge the contractors to ensure progress, engineering and quality of the projects. The locality needs to provide effective operation mechanism of the 2 incinerators to avoid environmental and water pollution after burning garbage and burying waste ash because these are 2 important works of Tan Yen district.
He urged the district and competent agencies to continue directing production, expansion of growing area and improving quality of early ripen lychee for export especially meeting requirement of Japanese and European markets. In addition, the district needs to facilitate and arrange ground for investors in purchasing and processing guava in the district.
Apart from lychee, Tan Yen district should expand other fruit growing models to bring high economic values such as guava and custard apple.

On February 10, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Phan The Tuan inspected the production and business situation of Vina Solar Technology Company Limited in Van Trung industrial park (IP), Viet Yen district.
The provincial Vice Chairman Phan The Tuan requested the company to make more efforts to overcome difficulties, apply modern machinery and technology in production to improve productivity and quality of the products while gradually reducing handmade products. Besides, the company was urged to continue bettering Covid-19 prevention and control and caring for workers.
He stressed, Bac Giang province has established a number of new IPs and expanded some existing IPs. The province will have large land fund for industrial development, thus the province expected the company would continue investing and expanding its production scale with high investment, less use of land and labourers making positive contribution to the state budget.
