President awarded third class Labour Medal to Hiep Hoa district

(BGO) – President inked Decision No.282/QD-CTN on March 1, 2022 to award third class Labour Medal to the Party Committee, authority and people in Hiep Hoa district, Bac Giang province as the acknowledgement for their excellent achievement in the emulative movement that the whole country joins hands in new style rural building in the period 2016 – 2022, contributes to socialism construction and national defence.

Thanks to the great unity and solidarity, the district completed and exceeded the set targets and socio-economic development tasks in the period with total average production value of 14.4 trillion VND (630.6 million USD), growth rate of average production rate of 16.5 percent, total investment capital for social development of over 20 trillion VND, average income of 58 million VND per person per year in 2020.

After more than 10 years implementing the National Target Programme to build new style rural, the district rural appearance has changed dramatically, the economy has gained positive growth with production and consumption linkage established in close connection to creating trademark and origin traceability of product quality.

The district has constructed spacious socio-economic infrastructure, especially traffic while cultural facilities and schools gradually meet the production requirement and people’s life.

So far, the district has all communes qualified as new style rural standard, three communes as advanced new style rural standard, 21 exemplary new style rural village as well as completes nine out of nine criteria for new style rural district with high result.

Bac Giang develops urban and residential areas, ensures provincial planning, saves resources

(BGO) – Bac Giang province has high population growth together with huge housing demand due to attraction of many groups and businesses to invest to the industrial parks and clusters. Thus, the province has established several new urban and residential areas. In the future, many localities will construct more urban and residential areas, which supplies to real estate market (REM). However, the development must ensure the provincial plan.

 

Bac Giang covers third Covid-19 vaccine shot to 90.7 percent of adult population

(BGO) – Completing the Urgent Spring Vaccination Campaign in 2022 (from January 29 to February 28), Bac Giang province covered third Covid-19 vaccine shot to 90.7 percent of adult population (exceeding the target of 86 percent) and entered the list of six leading provinces and cities with highest vaccine coverage nationwide.

(BGO) – The People’s Committee in Bac Giang province has issued decision to approve for community based tourism development project in the period 2022-2030 to tap the advantages and potentials of local tourism resources to create new tourism product, divesify services and utilities to serve public benefit and attract more visitors.

 

Providing consultations, heath care for F0s at home around the clock

(BGO) - The number of Covid-19 infections (F0s) is increasing rapidly in the community. Right now, along with strengthening the management and treatment of patients at grassroots-level medical stations, localities in Bac Giang province have opened more online consultation channels via social networks (Zalo, Facebook) to promptly receive information and support F0s in health care.
