Bac Giang farm produce displayed at SEOUL FOOD 2022

(BGO) - Vifoco Import Export Joint Stock Company (Vifoco) in Bac Giang city (Bac Giang province) has introduced some typical products at the International Food Industry Exhibition Seoul Food 2022 in the Republic of Korea, Nguyen Quoc Viet, CEO and Director of Vifoco confirmed.

The event is launched from June 7 to 10 by Korean Trade Investment Promotion Agency that draws nearly 1,000 participating businesses from 30 countries and territories with about 2,500 booths.

Joining the exhibition, Vifoco introduces several signature products of Bac Giang province such as canned cucumbers, frozen lychees, canned lychees, frozen potato…

“Vietnamese pavilion is one of big areas at the exhibition with high appreciation from Korean partners and people. For two days, Vifoco’s booth has attracted hundreds of visitors. Together with traditional customer, we have found new partners and inked more contracts in 2023 at the event,” said Viet.

Luc Ngan promotes tourism on lychee season

(BGO) - As schedule, Luc Ngan district People’s Committee (Bac Giang province) plans to organize tourism promotion programme themed “Flavor of Luc Ngan summer” in the middle of June with the participation from 40 travel companies in and outside the province, management officials, reporters of central and local press and media agencies.

(BGO) – The harvest season for early ripening lychee in Bac Giang province started in late May. So far, over 13,400 tonnes of fruits have been consumed domestically and globally.

Early ripening lychees enjoy smooth consumption and high selling price

(BGO) - The cold weather in last winter made lychees in Bac Giang province ripe haft one month later than previous seasons. There is long period between the harvest season of early and late ripening lychees, which cause positive impact on market and ensure crop spreading factor. When Covid-19 is contained, early ripening lychees now enjoy smooth consumption and high selling price.
