(BGO) - Under the direction of the Government and Ministry of Finance, the enterprises, economic organizations, household businesses and individuals in 57 centrally-run provinces and cities including the northern province of Bac Giang started to apply electronic invoice (e-invoice) from April 1, 2022 to replace the paper form. It becomes compulsory task from July 1, 2022.
Implementing the regulation, recently, the provincial Taxation Department has directed the professional divisions and Taxation Office in the districts and city to instruct tax payers to quickly and effectively use the e-invoice.

To date, more than 5,591 enterprises and economic organizations have used e-invoice, accounting for nearly 94 percent while 854 business households and individuals have applied this form of invoice, making up nearly 92 percent of total cases subjected to the regulation.
The localities with major e-invoice users included Viet Yen, Hiep Hoa, Lang Giang, Luc Nam, Yen Dung districts and Bac Giang city.
Now, the provincial Taxation Department has focused on expediting and guiding the remaining cases to complete applying e-invoice before June 30, 2022.
