Bac Giang industrial production value exceeds 8.6 billion USD

(BGO) - For the first half of 2022, the industrial production value (IPV) in the northern province of Bac Giang has hit nearly 200 trillion VND or over 8.6 billion USD, increasing 55.5 percent year on year and representing 54.5 percent of annual plan.

The direct foreign investment enterprises at provincial industrial parks earned high IPV of 60 percent in the total production value of the province, most of which operate in electronic component manufacturing field like Fuhong Precision Component Bac Giang Company Limited (Dinh Tram industrial park), Luxshare - ICT Company Limited (Van Trung industrial park)…

The result was gained thanks to centralized leadership of the province and functional sectors to implement practical solutions to support business toward post pandemic recovery, such as labour employment, taxation reduction and extension, disbursement of preferential loan for production recovery among others.

Also, the companies strive to overcome the difficulties, seek new orders, expand production scale to increase the revenue.

Vietnam’s industrial production up 8.3% in five-month period

The index of industrial production (IIP) in the first five months of 2022 rose by 8.3% over the same period last year, on top of May’s increase of 10.4% from a year earlier.
