Bac Giang collects nearly 850 billion VND of tax arrears

(BGO) – Thanks to synchornous and drastic measures, the taxation sector in the northern province of Bac Giang has collected nearly 850 billion VND (36.3 million USD) of tax arrears in the province since early this year.

The tax arrears include business income tax, added value tax, land leasing tax, land use tax…. Of the above amount, 530 billion VND was debt incurred in this year period while the remaining one was from previous years.

The officials at Taxation Office in Lang Giang – Luc Nam area review the business debts to expedite the tax collection.

Thus, total tax arrears in the province for collection has balanced about 610 billion VND, 5 percent lower than total provincial budget collection in 2022 that ensures the assigned criteria of Ministry of Finance and provincial People’s Committee as regulation.

Right from beginning of this year, the Taxation Department realized specific programme to manage and collect the debt; directed the Taxation Office in the areas and competent agencies to review and analyze the reason leading to the debt then make the list of businesses with tax debt and apply suitable method to collect the amount.

Some businesses of BGG Garment Factory, a branch of IBT Joint Stock Company in Nghia Hoa industrial cluster of Kep town (Lang Giang district) which paid 25 billion VND of tax arrears, Hop Nhat Joint Stock Company in Luc Son commune (Luc Nam district) which paid 60 billion VND of tax arrears to the state budget basically paid off the debt.

Enterprises recover, well implement tax policy

(BGO)- Covid-19 pandemic outbreak in Bac Giang province in the middle last year adversely impacted operation of almost companies. However, thanks to the great efforts to overcome difficulties, several enterprises have recovered their production and business with dramatically increased turnovers and made positive contribution to the state budget.

 

6 out of 16 tax revenues in Bac Giang surpass from 5 to 37 percent against the same period

(BGO)- According to the Taxation Department of Bac Giang province, the total domestic tax revenue in Bac Giang province in the first 5 months this year is estimated at 6.619 trillion VND (285 million USD), up 6 percent against the same period last year and equal to 53 percent of the yearly tax estimate.
