(BGO) – On August 10, Vice Chairman of Bac Giang provincial People’s Committee (PPC) Phan The Tuan chaired a meeting to review the implementation progress of investment construction and trading project of Hoa Phu industrial park (IP)’s infrastructure and first stage of expanded Hoa Phu IP project.
According to Hoa Phu Investment Company Limited (Hoa Phu Company), so far Company has cooperated with Hiep Hoa district People’s Committee to clear 205.8 out of 207.45 hectares of land, accounting for 96.8 percent that included 170.8 hectares for technical infrastructure construction.

The IP attracted 23 projects from sub-investors, covering more than 80 percent of the project’s industrial land with total investment capital of over 500 million USD. 22 out of 23 investors received investment license, 16 out of 23 projects entered operational stage with more than 2,000 labours.
Regarding the first stage of expanded Hoa Phu IP project covering 85 hectares, the investor completed verification document for environmental impact assessment report. The site work will be done before this November 30 to promote attraction of sub-investor from January 2023.
Concluding the event, PPC Vice Chairman Phan The Tuan pressed that current industrial land fund at the IPs is basically filled up. To accelerate investment attraction and socio-economic development, the province highly focuses on speeding up the site work at Hoa Phu IP and expanded Hoa Phu IP.
Actual result proved a delayed schedule, causing difficulties for investment attraction. The provincial leader ordered Hiep Hoa district People’s Committee to continue well communicating to call on people’s consensus in handing over the plane to investors for infrastructure construction.
For the uncleared area, the district must consider to complete the coercive procedure so as to definitely handle the industrial land within August 2022 while boosting up land clearance to build the port within this year.

The Department of Natural Resource and Environment and provincial IP Management Board should base on the function and task to support the localities and investors to remove obstacles in defining the land origin for clearance; facilitate business to quickly approach plane for infrastructure construction; select and draw sub-investors with high technology application, use less labour and land area…
Hoa Phu Company was ordered to strictly collaborate with locality to speed up the land clearance for projects as schedule, ensure harmonious benefit between infrastructure investor and sub-investor to improve the investment environment in the province.
During the site work implementation, Hiep Hoa district and Hoa Phu Company should timely report to the PPC about any arising issue for suitable settlement.
