(BGO) – The People’s Committee in Bac Giang province has issued Decision to approve for the assessment, classification and grant Certificate of One Commune One Product (OCOP) Programme in Bac Giang province in first period 2022.
Accordingly, 8 products are rated 4 star, including five color noodle, Xuan Truong rice noodle (Nam Duong commune, Luc Ngan district); chicken paste (Yen The Green Agriculture Cooperative); dried flower bud of Sam Nam nui Danh (Danh Mountain’s radix codonopsis javanicae or Dang Shen of Lien Chung Dang Shen Production and Consumption Cooperative); Binh Minh herbal pork paste and sausage (Binh Minh Organic Agriculture Cooperative in Danh Thang commune, Hiep Hoa district); Luc Ngan lychee of Hong Xuan Production and General Service Trading Cooperative.

Luc Ngan lychee is potential product to get OCOP five star rating. Besides, the provincial People’s Committee recognized 22 OCOP products as three star rating.
The recognized products are allowed to use OCOP symbol and rating on package together with reward and OCOP certificate in 36 month since the date of decision issuance.
In 2022, Bac Giang province will conduct two more assessment periods to classify OCOP products. 31 products were evaluated in the first one, including 26 new products and 5 existing ones (re-assessing or upgrading the star rating).
