Ha has also made products from rice, such as pasta, rice paper, noddles, instant noodles, and coffee stirrers.
At the award ceremony, the organising board also presented two second, three third, and three consolation prizes, worth 65 million VND, 55 million VND, and 30 million VND each, to other outstanding projects.
The contest, the eighth of its kind, is co-organised by the Business Studies and Assistance Centre (BSA), the Vinamit Joint Stock Company, the Foundation of Youth Empowerment (FYe), and the Ca Mau Petroleum Fertilizer Joint Stock Company.
It aims to create opportunities for start-up projects to develop products from indigenous resources, participate in domestic and foreign trade promotion programmes, and raise awareness of standards on good business practices and sustainable development.
