Bac Giang focuses on land clearance, accelerating construction progress of key projects

(BGO)- Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Le Anh Duong on October 18 paid a field trip to inspect the implementation progress of some key projects in the province.

Accordingly, he inspected progress of some projects including construction of Dong Viet bridge and the path to the bridge, building the district road 5B in Yen Dung district and construction of the route connecting the national highway No 17 to Hanoi- Bac Giang expressway passing Yen Lu and Van Trung industrial parks.

Regarding Dong Viet bridge project, the provincial Chairman Le Anh Duong inspected the construction of the bridge point in Hai Duong province and construction of the bridge and the path to the bridge in Bac Giang province. This project worth more than 1.492 trillion VND (60.6 million USD) from the provincial budget and local government bonds, which is executed from 2022 to 2025. To date, the construction items have been carried out meeting the schedule.

After listening to the report and the site inspection, the provincial Chairman urged Yen Dung district to promptly check up and remove obstacles to accelerate the compensation for land clearance at the intersection in Dong Phuc commune. Besides, the district needs to move the electricity poles to hand over land surface to the contractor to implement construction according to the schedule.

He requested the contractor to concentrate labour force and machinery to accelerate construction of the items in good weather condition striving to complete the project ahead schedule.

The construction project of the district road 5B in Yen Dung district, the section from Canh Thuy commune to Tu Mai commune and Nham Bien town is 3.8 kilometre long worth 97 billion VND (3.94 million USD) from the district’s budget. The project is scheduled from 2018-2022.

At the site inspection, the provincial Chairman Le Anh Duong requested Yen Dung and Viet Yen district to direct related agencies to promptly remove obstacles relating land issue for timely land clearance of the remaining area to hand over the contractor and soon bring the project into use.

He stressed, the two projects play important role in traffic connection. If they are completed and brought into use soon, they will contribute to facilitating travelling, circulation of goods and boosting socio-economic development of the localities.
