(BGO) – This year, the agro-forestry and fishery production
value in Bac Giang province was estimated at over 22.2 trillion VND (nearly 894
million USD), up nearly 150 billion VND agaist the plan and over 450 billion
VND year on year, reported the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development.
Particularly, the agriculture sector gained over 19.7 trillion VND, fishery earned over 1.3 trillion VND and forestry achieved nearly 1.2 trillion VND.

Though the weather condition was complicated and unfavourable, the price of agriculture material was increased, active supporting measures helped farmers continue developing big scale farm models under cooperation and linkage under value chain.
At the same time, the sectors and localities paid due attention to guiding farmers to apply advanced technologies and production procedure which resulted in high quality and productivity in both plant and livestock production.
Typically, rice crop yielded 5.8 tonnes per hectares (up 0.2 percent against last year output), lychee hit nearly 200,000 tonnes, total livestock productivity was about 254,400 tonnes (up 5.8 percent year on year)…

2022, up 8.5 percent against last month figure and 307,240 billion VND in the
first nine months, increasing 50.9 percent year on year and accounting for 83.9
percent of yearly plan.
