(BGO) – The northern province of Bac Giang housed nine industrial parks (IP) with approved construction planning, 8 of which were accepted by Prime Minister for the investment policy with total natural land of 1,792.5 hectares and 5 under operation.
According to Prime Minister’s Decision No.219/QD-TTg approving the Planning of Bac Giang province in 2021 – 2030 period with the vision to 2050, industry was defined as the major driving force for the development to turn the province into one of developed industrial center of the region.

As of April 2022, Bac Giang had nine industrial parks (IP) with approved construction planning, 8 of which were accepted by Prime Minister for the investment policy with total natural land of 1,792.5 hectares and 5 under operation (Vietnam Korean IP with 197.31 hectares, Hoa Phu IP with 207.45 hectares, Tan Hung IP with 105.3 hectares, Yen Lu IP with 377 hectares, Yen Son – Bac Lung IP with 300 hectares).
Besides, Quang Chau IP with 426 hectares, Van Trung IP with 350.3 hectares, Dinh Tram IP with 127.4 hectares, Song Khe – Noi Hoang IP with 158.7 hectares can be expanded up to 300 hectares.
The Planning for the South area of Song Khe – Noi Hoang IP of 44.91 hectares has recently been approved alongside the national road No.17 in Tien Phong and Noi Hoang communes of Yen Dung district.
It aims to build a concentrated industrial park with various fields of agro-forestry and food processing, mechanical manufacturing, electronic component, supporting industries, logistics, accommodation, banking and financial service among others.

Planning of Bac Giang province in 2021 – 2030 period with the vision to 2050 targets to develop 29 IP with total area of 7,000 hectares and 63 industrial clusters with total area of 3,906 hectares by 2030.
Most of the industrial parks and clusters will be located at industrial area alongside the corridor of national road No.1A, provincial road No.398 – 296 – 295 – national road No.37 – 17 and provincial road No.299, Hanoi – Lang Son expressway and the Eastern industrial region alongside the corridor of provincial road No.293 – national road No.37 and the belt road No.4.
