(BGO) – As of February 18, 2023, the last in 16 households whose land must be reclaimed to execute the expansion project of Nhu Nguyet bridge (Project) handed over the land for the construction contractor, reported Nguyen Ba Trang, Director of Project Management Board, Commander of Construction Contractor in Bac Ninh province.
The whole 16 families in residential group No.5 in Dap Cau ward (Bac Ninh city) agreed to hand over the land for the contractor so the bottleneck of the Project’s site work was removed.

The Project is invested over 456.3 billion VND (over 19.1 million USD) by the Bac Giang provincial Management Board for Rural and Traffic Investment and Construction Projects.
Total area for reclaimation reaches about 17,000 square meters, including over 6,500 square meters from Bac Giang province (done since April 2022) and 10,600 square meters from Bac Ninh province (9,500 square meters of agriculture land was completed while over 1,000 square meters of urban area of above mentioned households was pending).

As schedule, the Project will be executed in one year starting from April 2022. Though it was commenced two months ahead of the plan, there is the risk of delayed progress due to the bottleneck in land clearance caused by such 16 households.
Thanks to synchronous measures, the last family at this area received the compensation amount and handed over the land for the contractor. As soon as gaining the plane, the contractor urgently dismantled the buildings to build pillars T7 and T8 then put the project in use soon.
