Quang Minh becomes first commune in Bac Giang recognized as exemplary new-style rural area

(BGO) – The Chairman of Bac Giang provincial People’s Committee (PPC) has inked decisions to recognize 10 more basic and advanced new style rural communes as well as exemplary new style rural commune in term of security and order in 2022.

Accordingly, the PPC recognized Quang Minh commune in Viet Yen district as the first commune in the province to meet the standard of exemplary new style rural commune in term of security and order in 2022. The People’s Committee in Viet Yen district and Quang Minh commune are responsible for announcing the recognition and directing the commune to maintain and enhance the achievement.

Also, PPC Chairman recognized 4 communes of Dong Lo, Mai Trung, Thanh Van (Hiep Hoa district) and Que Nham (Tan Yen district) as advanced new style rural commune in 2022 and 5 communes of Binh Son, Truong Son, Vu Xa, Yen Son (Luc Nam district) and Dong Ky (Yen The district) as new style rural commune in 2022.

As schedule, Bac Giang province targeted to have 9 more communes to meet the standard of new style rural commune and 20 advanced ones in 2022. As of March 4, 2023, the province had 6 more new style rural communes (144 out of 184 communes were qualified) and 15 advanced ones (38 advanced new style rural communes in the province).

So far, one commune in the province has been qualified as exemplary new-style rural commune in security and order.

Tan Yen recognized new style rural district

(BGO)- The provincial People’s Committee of Bac Giang province on 26 July evening at Luong Van Nam square, Cao Thuong township, Tan Yen district organized a solemn ceremony to announce the Prime Minister’s Decision on recognizing Tan Yen as new style rural district and receiving the Third Class Labour Medal.

Bac Giang will focus on removing obstacles to raise the efficiency in the implementation of the National Target Programme on New-Style Rural Area Building in the northern province.

 

Communal Party chief plays leading role in advanced new-style rural building

(BGO) - After 20 years of working in Viet Lap commune, Tan Yen district, Bac Giang, Secretary of the communal Party Committee Giap Van Hanh followed his predecessors and quickly affirmed his own marks, turning Viet Lap into the first advanced new-style rural commune of the district which was awarded the third-class Labor Order.

 

OCOP program creates driving force for rural economic development

(BGO) - The provincial People's Committee issued a Decision on approving the implementation of the "One Commune One Product (OCOP) Program" in Bac Giang province for the 2018-2020 period, with a vision to 2030. The decision was to realise the Prime Minister's Decision, dated June 29, 2018, on approving the "One Commune One Product Program" for the 2018-2020 period. 

 

Over 40,200 rural labours trained in Bac Giang

(BGO) – During 2010 – 2022 period, Luc Nam district (Bac Giang province) mobilized nearly 10 billion VND (425,531 USD) from central and local budgets to open short vocational courses for rural labour.
