(BGO) – The
Prime Minister has issued Decision about additionally allocating investment
capital plan of central budget development in 2021 – 2025 period to implement
three National Target Programmes and adjust some criteria and tasks.
Accordingly, Bac Giang province will receive 246.3 billion VND (10.5 million USD) more, including over 146.9 billion VND to build new style rural area. These amount consists of capital to support the implementation of One Commune One Product Programme, investment to develop grass roots medical network in 2021 – 2025 period.

So, in 2021 – 2023 period, the province will be totally allocated over 964.9 billion VND by the Center to build new style rural area. The additional capital helps the province early complete the new style rural building plan.
Also, the Governemnt adjusted the National Target Programmes to develop the socio and economy in Bac Giang. By 2025, the province strives to bring 50 percent of specially difficult villages out of such condition.
In 2021 – 2025 period, Bac Giang has 66 specially difficult villages, mostly in the districts of Son Dong, Luc Ngan, Luc Nam, Yen The and Lang Giang.

OCOP program creates driving force for rural economic development(BGO) - The provincial People's Committee issued a Decision on approving
the implementation of the "One Commune One Product (OCOP) Program" in
Bac Giang province for the 2018-2020 period, with a vision to 2030.
The decision was to realise the Prime Minister's Decision, dated June 29, 2018,
on approving the "One Commune One Product Program" for the 2018-2020 period.
Over 40,200 rural labours trained in Bac Giang(BGO) – During 2010 – 2022 period, Luc Nam district (Bac
Giang province) mobilized nearly 10 billion VND (425,531 USD) from central and
local budgets to open short vocational courses for rural labour.
Dual benefits from rural tourism(BGO) – Tapping the advantage of agriculture production and
cultural signature in villages, many businesses and cooperatives in Bac Giang
province have joined hands with farmers to invest and develop tourism.
Bac Giang strongly invests in agriculture, farmer and rural to be key agriculture area of nation(BGO) – The Executive Board of the 13
Central Party Committee on June 16 issued Resolution No.19-NQ-TW about
agriculture, farmer and rural till 2030 with the vision to 2045 (Resolution
19). Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (DARD)
Duong Thanh Tung granted an interview to Bac Giang News about new features and
breakthrough solutions in implementation of the Resolution.
