The province had 16 industrial clusters which were invested by district People’s Committee on total area of 202 hectares and basically occupied. 38 industrial clusters were invested by businesses on 1,966 hectares, some of which completed the infrastructure for sub-investor attraction.
Recently, some industrial clusters have been synchronously constructed. However, some districts and investors have not yet decisively implemented relevant tasks, leading to delayed progress.
After directing to remove difficulties for each delayed industrial cluster project, PPC Vice Chairman Phan The Tuan ordered the Department of Industry and Trade (DoIT) to enhance inspection, supervision and comprehensively evaluate the execution schedule in the industrial clusters.
The DoIT must actively work with localities, investors, relevant sectors and agencies to timely handle any difficulties; report actual progress and propose PPC Chairman to issue direction monthly, quarterly or in accordance to actual status.
