Three more localities in Bac Giang recognized as new style and advanced new style rural communes

(BGO) – The Chairman of Bac Giang provincial People’s Committee has issued decisions to recognize Thanh Hai commune in Luc Ngan district and Dong Hung commune in Luc Nam district as advanced new style rural commune, Phi Dien commune in Luc Ngan district as new style rural commune in 2022.

The provincial leader ordered the People’s Committee in Luc Nam district, Luc Ngan district, Dong Hung commune, Thanh Hai commune and Phi Dien commune to announce the recognition as regulation and further direct the localities to maintain and upgrade the quality of criteria.

Accordingly, Dong Hung and Thanh Hai communes strive to satisfy criteria to be exemplary new style rural commune and Phi Dien commune toward advanced title.

So far, the province has 144 new style rural communes, 43 advanced new style rural communes and one exemplary new style rural commune.

OCOP program creates driving force for rural economic development

(BGO) - The provincial People's Committee issued a Decision on approving the implementation of the "One Commune One Product (OCOP) Program" in Bac Giang province for the 2018-2020 period, with a vision to 2030. The decision was to realise the Prime Minister's Decision, dated June 29, 2018, on approving the "One Commune One Product Program" for the 2018-2020 period.

(BGO) – During 2010 – 2022 period, Luc Nam district (Bac Giang province) mobilized nearly 10 billion VND (425,531 USD) from central and local budgets to open short vocational courses for rural labour.
