Industrial production value in September increases over 11.7 percent

BAC GIANG - The industrial production value (IPV) of Bac Giang province in September continued growing thanks to strong recovery of enterprises, reported the Department of Industry and Trade.

Particularly, the IPV (actual price) is estimated at 53,418 billion VND (2.26 billion USD) in September (an increase of 11.7 percent compared to the previous month) and 381,950 billion VND in nine months ( up 20.4 percent over the same period), reaching 75.2 percent of the year plan.

Of which, the state-owned enterprise sector reached 8,127 billion VNA (up 9.8 percent and accounting for 82.9 percent of the plan); non-state enterprise sector earned 56,908 billion VND (increasing 38.6 percent and reaching 126.5 percent of the plan); the foreign invested sector gained 316,915 billion VND (increasing 18 percent, reaching 70 percent of the target).

The above results were gained thanks to strong recovery of businesses which employed large numbers of human resources to increase product output and high growth.

At the same time, the province focused on reviewing and summing up the situation of production and business activities, import and export, difficulties and problems of enterprises so as to timely inform and support businesses.

The industrial production has contributed greatly to the province's economic growth. In general, economic growth in 9 months reached 12.04 percent. Of which, industry - construction increased by 15.21 percent (industry increased by 16.37 percent, construction increased by 5.21 percent); services increased by 6.02 percent; agriculture, forestry and fisheries increased by 3.51 percent while product taxes increased by 6.25 percent.
