Viet Han 110 kV remote substation put into operation

BAC GIANG - Bac Giang Power Company (Bac Giang PC) has just put Viet Han (Vietnamese – Korean) 110kV Substation into operation to serve  businesses in Viet Han Industrial Park in Viet Yen district (Bac Giang province).

The substation was invested more than 77.5 billion VND (3.27 million USD) by Northern Electricity Corporation. The project was constructed in early March this year as an unmanned substations to meet the electricity demand of Viet Han Industrial Park with fully equipped fire protection systems, cameras, and automation system which can monitor and control remotely from the center.

The operator and the team leader operate away from Viet Han Substation.

After energizing, the substation operated stably and reliably in compliance with current regulations on technical requirements for control centers and unmanned substations.

At the same time, Bac Giang PC completed personnel, trained and reorganized the mobile operation team to serve on-site inspection and operations.

Viet Han Substation is put into operation.

Viet Han 110 kV substation operates in remote operation mode, supporting officials and employees to exploit operating parameters immediately. Operation from the control center helps handle problems quickly and turn on power as soon as possible, ensuring stable and safe power supply.
