The Mekong Delta city of Can Tho has exported the first 18.5 tonnes of locally grown durians to China under an agreement between Vietnam’s agriculture ministry and Chinese customs.

– Since 2023, the People’s Committee in the districts and city will evaluate
and classify three-star products under One Commune One Product programme (OCOP)
as well as organize ceremony to announce and hand over the certificate to the winners,
reported the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development in Bac Giang
province.
