Bac Giang develops outstanding rural industrial product of yellow-flower tea

(BGO)- The yellow-flower tea product of Luu Chanh Herbal Production Cooperative in Truong Son commune, Luc Nam district has been honored as one of the regional outstanding rural industrial products in 2020 by the Agency for Regional Industry and Trade (Vietnam Ministry of Industry and Trade).

The 2 main products includes dried yellow-flower tea which was rated as 4-star OCOP product (under the One commune One product Programme) and yellow-flower teabag rated 3-star OCOP product.

The product is grown, purchased and processed in the communes of Truong Son, Binh Son and Luc Son. Particularly, the Cooperative’s member households have total 10 hectares. The Cooperative has earned a revenue of 2.3 billion VND (99,241 USD) this year. They are expanding the yellow-flower tea growing area and developing the domestic and international markets while producing more products from lingzhi mushroom and Luc Nam forest honey.
