Luc Ngan has sent officials and Party members to grassroots-level units and simultaneously set up the model of "self-managed checkpoints" and organized large-scale collection of samples of the entire population in villages and residential areas of communes and townships.

On this occasion, the Military Hospital 110 and Son Dong district’s Medical Center dispatched 14 groups of doctors and medical workers to support Luc Ngan in taking samples for Covid-19 testing.

According to the Center for Industry Encouragement and Trade Promotion under the Department of Industry and Trade, as of May 24, the province had harvested and sold more than 2,000 tonnes of early-ripening lychees, for 16,000-27,000 VND (0.7-1.18 USD) per kg. Early-ripening lychees are grown mainly in Phuc Hoa commune (Tan Yen district) and some communes in Luc Ngan district.
