25 outstanding agricultural products honored in Bac Giang for third time

(BGO) – 25 farm produce have been recognized and honored as the outstanding agricultural products in Bac Giang province in the third time 2021.

The product selection and evaluation are done in every two year. This year, the Judge Council received 49 profiles of ten districts and city to register in 3 groups of farm produce, processing product and agricultural supporting product.

Luc Ngan lychee is honored as Bac Giang provincial outstanding farm produce three times.

25 selected products consisted of Luc Ngan lychee, Yen The hill chicken, Luc Nam custard apple, Phuc Hoa early ripening lychee, Yen Dung fragrant rice, Hoang Luong water dropwort, Ke rice cracker, Ven village green tea, Chu rice noodle, Lang Giang mushroom, Luc Ngan sweet orange, Luc Nam pineapple, wine made from yellow flower glutinous rice, Van Banh Chung, Lien Chung grill roll, Da Mai dried vermicelli, yellow flower tea, Ngoc Chau bamboo shoot, Thai Son yellow flower glutinous rice, Thien Tam herbal glue, Tho Ha rice sheet, Tri Yen soya sauce, Son Dong wild honey, Sao Than Nong potato and Quang Thinh pomelo.

Among them, there are eight new products, 13 farm produce are honored twice and four honored once.

The selected products reclaim big market share in the province and country for their high quality, good appearance, qualified food hygiene and safety, high competitiveness, unique property, friendly to the environment toward sustainable development.

As schedule, the provincial Farmers’ Association will cooperate with the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, Department of Industry and Trade to organize the ceremony to honor the provincial outstanding farm produce in early October.

Bac Giang grants priority card for vehicles transporting farm produce

(BGO) – Amid the social distancing order imposed in many provincies and cities, implementing the instruction from the Ministry of Transport, Bac Giang provincial Department of Transport (DoT) set up special team in charge of granting priority card to identify local vehicles to “green lane” for their owners.

 

Vietnamese farm produce promoted in ROK

Vietnamese agricultural products have been introduced to consumers in the Republic of Korea (ROK) during the Import Goods Fair (IGF) 2021 that is taking place in Seoul from July 22-24.

 

Over 9,000 tonnes of farm produce consumed on e-commerce platforms

(BGO) – More than 9,000 tonnes of farm produce in the northern province of Bac Giang have been sold on e-commerce platforms including over 7,000 tonnes of lychee and various OCOP products of Ven village tea, Chu rice noodle, corn wine, herbal mushroom..., 1,000 fold increase comparing to the figure last year, said Tran Quang Tan, Director of the provincial Department of Industry and Trade (DoIT).

 

Cooperatives supported to build and develop commodity farm produce

(BGO) – This year, Bac Giang province selected 4 qualified cooperatives to participate in the Project to build and develop commodity farm produce at provincial level in 2021 chaired by the Department of Industry and Trade.

 

Farm produce reach Europe via Vietnam’s e-commerce platform

Over three tonnes of Bac Giang lychees meeting GlobalGAP standard recently passed customs clearance at Frankfurt airport, Germany thanks to a transaction via the Vietnamese e-commerce platform Voso.
