Deputy Director of Lao Cai Border Gate Customs Vu Van Tuan said that Lao Cai Customs made efforts to overcome difficulties in 2021 to both fight the Covid-19 pandemic and ensure customs clearance of goods.
Total import-export turnover of the province reached 1.7 billion USD in 2021, including over 768,000 USD in export revenue and over 968,000 USD in import revenue.
Lao Cai Customs will promote administrative reform in 2022, especially for electronic customs clearance to facilitate import and export of goods in addition to preventing the pandemic, Tuan added.
