80 trucks carrying Bac Giang lychees enter China everyday

(BGO) - It is now harvest time for main season lychee of Bac Giang province with daily consumption of over 1,400 tonnes of fruits at smooth manner.  

As of June 20, the province harvested and consumed more than 47,300 tonnes of lychee, including over 40,000 tonnes of early ripening and 7,300 tonnes of main season lychees, reported the Department of Industry and Trade.

A lychee purchasing and packing facility to export to China in Cau Dat village, Phuong Son commune (Luc Ngan district).

Over 23,500 tonnes of lychees were exported, mostly to China with over 23,200 tonnes. The remaining quantity was exported to several countries of Cambodia, Japan, the US, Republic of Korea and European markets.

There are more than 80 trucks carrying Bac Giang lychee daily passing Tan Thanh border gate in Lang Son province via “green zone” to China.

Director of the provincial Department of Industry and Trade Tran Quang Tan said at peak harvest season of previous year, more than 400 lychee trucks got stuck at Tan Thanh border gates so the province is not worried about over 150 lychee trucks which are now waiting everyday at the gate.

In spite of restriction for Covid-19 prevention and control, Chinese authorities committed to clearing all trucks carrying lychee from Vietnam to China within 3 days at the border gate.

Now, the fresh lychee of Bac Giang is exported to China via Tan Thanh border gate. The dried lychee and processed farm produce will be exported to Lao Cai border gate.

(BGO) - As of June 14, Bac Giang province sold more than 28,400 tonnes of lychee with high price, including over 27,300 tonnes of early ripening lychee, reported the provincial Department of Industry and Trade.

(BGO) - To ensure lychee quality and standard for export, Luc Ngan district (Bac Giang province) has ordered competent agencies to strictly control over lychee growing area codes and packing facilities in the area.

(BGO) - At this time, lychees begin to be harvested. In order to support growers, the Bac Giang provincial Youth Union has directed its local chapters and affiliated units to set up volunteer youth teams to support digital transformation and sale of agricultural products, thereby helping farmers harvest lychees in time, and boost e-commerce application in lychee sale and promotion.
 
Tan Yen earns highest revenue from early ripening lychee
(BGO) - So far, Tan Yen district has harvested over 90 percent of early ripening lychee and earned highest revenue ever, reported the district Division of Agriculture and Rural Development.
