Luc Ngan lychee attracts Thailand customers

(BGO) - Vina T&T Group (Group) in Ho Chi Minh city confirmed that the Group bought 1.5 tonnes of Luc Ngan lychee, delivered by air freight to Thailand on June 21 and distributed to Central World and Central Chidlom supermarket systems.

Besides, the fruits are displayed at Vietnam - Thailand Summit. Luc Ngan lychees are highly preferred by Thailand customer.

Sarunya Seesai in Bangkok city said: “Luc Ngan lychee has light sweet taste, small seed with special flavour. I am really surprised at the delicious lychee of Vietnam because previously I only knew about Chinese and Thailand lychees”.

Now, the lychees are sold at over 300,000 VND (nearly 13 USD) per kg in Thailand.

Thailand customer prefers Bac Giang lychee.

To meet the demand for local customers in Thailand, on June 26, the Group will ship more than ten tonnes of Luc Ngan lychee to this market.

(BGO) - On authorization of Thailand competent agency, the Department of Plant Production and Protection issued two more lychee growing area codes (GAC) for export, reported Plant Production and Protection Division in Bac Giang province.
