(BGO) – On June 27, China piloted to import Vietnamese farm produce (dragon fruit, lychee and mango) via Kim Thanh International Road Border Gate No.2 in Lao Cai province to evaluate the satisfaction for requirement of Covid-19 prevention and control.
9 trucks carrying dragon fruit and lychee were cleared the customs in the pilot programme to enter China via the border gate. If they pass inspection and meet all strict conditions, Chinese side will resume customs clearance service for all farm produce at this border gate.

Vice Head of the Management Board at Lao Cai border gate Pham Hung recommended Vietnamese importer and exporter to discuss and negotiate with Chinese partners about commodity shipment and receipt.

Only when Chinese companies complete registration, customs declaration and get approval from Chinese customs department, Vietnam firms transport the farm produce to the border gate for customs clearance to prevent any risk.
Management Board at Lao Cai border gate will actively work with the Chinese counterpart to facilitate the product export.
