Hai Duong exports first batch of longan to the US, Europe and Singapore

Chi Linh city in Hai Duong province held aceremony to harvest longan for export and ship the first three tonnes of longan to the US, Europe and Singapore on July 22.

The Northern province of Hai Duong currently has 2,100ha of longan with an annual output of over 12,000 tonnes. In particular, Chi Linh city has 740ha of longan with an estimated output of over 4,000 tonnes per year.

At the ceremony to ship the first three tonnes of longan to foreign markets.

Chi Linh longan is grown in large-scale and specialised farming areas according to VietGap and GlobalGapstandards. As many as 28 planting area codes were granted to 190ha farming areas in Chi Linh city with an expected volume of about 1,200 tonnes.

Besides domestic consumption, Chi Linh longan has been exported to several European and Asian countries, winning the trust of consumers.

Yen The late ripening longan brand certified

(BGO) - The People’s Committee in Yen The district (Bac Giang province) on May 24 cooperated with the Department of Science and Technology (DoST) to announce the certified brand of “Yen The late ripening longan ”.

Son La exports longan to EU and UK markets

Son La province held a ceremony on July 21, in Song Ma district, to announce the decision granting certificates of trademark registration for the "Son La longan" and to cut the ribbon to send off the batch of Song Ma-Son La longans to the EU and UK markets for 2021.
