(BGO) – On February 15, Thach Ban Group held a ceremony to inaugurate its Thach Ban Bac Giang granite tile plant and celebrate its 58th founding anniversary.

Attending the event were Bui Van Hai, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the provincial Party committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Council; and Bui Pham Khanh, Deputy Minister of Construction.
Thach Ban Group was formerly the Hanoi tile production facility. After nearly 60 years, the company has transformed itself into a construction material group, with seven subsidiaries in Hanoi, Quang Ninh, Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City and Bac Giang. Its main products include tiles and baked-brick roof tiles.
In 2016, after more than one year of construction, the Thach Ban Bac Giang granite tile plant, which covers 18ha in Nham Son commune, Yen Dung district, turned out its first batch of products based on Italian technologies to the market. Currently, the project has completed its first phase, which produces 8 million square metres of tiles annually and creates jobs for hundreds of locals.

At the ceremony, Thach Ban Group committed to make the plant a good model in the province.
Many foreign partners, agents and clients of the company showed their determination to stand side by side with the group, affirming that investing in the Bac Giang plant is a right decision that opens up many new development opportunities.
Secretary of the provincial Party committee Bui Van Hai said the operation of the plant reflects great efforts made by the Thach Ban group, adding that the facility contributes to generating more jobs for locals, increasing budget revenues and boosting socio-economic growth in Bac Giang.
He requested different-level agencies and localities to create more favourable conditions for Thach Ban Group to carry out projects licensed by the provincial authorities.
Hai stressed that the recovery of the real estate market is opening up great opportunities for firms producing construction materials like Thach Ban.
He said he believes the group will pursue its motto of “High productivity – Gearing up for development” to sustain product quality, as well as press ahead with creativity and sustainability.
