Viet Yen builds overpass and expand national road No.1’s frontage

(BGO) – The People’s Committee in Viet Yen district (Bac Giang province) has mobilized over 278 billion VND (11.8 million USD) from the local budget to invest in building the overpass of national road No. 1 to link the belt road No.4 to the internal road of Quang Chau industrial park as well as expand the national road No.1’s frontage.

The frontage road is constructed with total cost of nearly 100 billion VND (4.2 million USD).

According to Do Van Hung, Director of Management Board for the Construction and Investment Project in Viet Yen district, the project helps solve the traffic overload and congestion at the industrial parks because the current frontage’s surface is only 5 meter in width on average.
