FDI enterprises pay nearly 360 billion VND to budget

(BGO) - Bac Giang province now has more than 500 foreign direct investment (FDI) enterprises with regular contribution to provincial budget, reported the provincial Department of Taxation in Bac Giang province.

Amid the impact of Covid-19 pandemic, the FDI paid nearly 360 billion VND (15.7 million USD) to the budget in the first quarter of this year, accounting for 38 percent of the plan assigned by the Center.

Most of the FDI companies operate in six industrial parks of Van Trung, Dinh Tram, Quang Chau, Vietnam Korea, Hoa Phu and Song Khe - Noi Hoang.

Some businesses with high payment included Lens Technology Vietnam Company Limited (Quang Chau industrial park) contributing over 36 billion VND, Fuhong Precision Component Company Limited (Dinh Tram industrial park) paying 27 billion VND…

The result was gained thanks to various synchronous measures conducted by the local authority and competent sectors to support business community to gradually recover the production and business activities when Covid-19 pandemic was well controlled.

Many companies have actively invested in modern machines, employed more labours, expanded production scale to increase the revenue.

The total new, adjusted capital and share purchases by foreign investors reached 31.15 billion USD as of December 20, up 9.2 percent annually, reported the Foreign Investment Agency.
