Bac Giang attracts 19 new projects to the IPs in first half this year

(BGO)- In the first half of 2022, Bac Giang province has granted new investment registration certificate to 19 projects in the industrial parks (IPs), up 3 projects year on year, including 11 foreign direct investment (FDI) projects and 08 domestic direct investment (DDI) projects with total investment of 244.2 million USD and 4.356 trillion VND (185 million USD).

Besides, the province gave a nod to adjust 67 projects, 20 of which were accepted to increase investment with the added capital of 248.9 million USD and 19.6 billion VND (832,059 USD). Total newly registered and added capital reached approx. 684 million USD

By the end of June 2022, there have been 431 ongoing projects in the IPs with 318 FDI projects and 113 DDI ones with total registered investment capital of about 5.4 billion USD and total implemented capital of the projects is estimated at 6.995 trillion VND (297 million USD) and 4,726 million USD.

In addition, 12 new enterprises were established in the IPs in the first 6 months this year. To date, the industrial parks are home to 392 ongoing enterprises, up 9 enterprises against 2021.

The total revenue from the enterprises in the IPs in the first half of 2022 is estimated at 126.495 trillion VND (5.370 billion USD), increased by 40.695 trillion VND (1.73 billion USD) compared to the same period in 2021.

(BGO)- The Party Union of the provincial People’s Council and the Office of the provincial Party Committee of Bac Giang province on June 20 held a conference to approve the contents submitted to the Standing Board of the provincial Party Committee at the meeting session in June 2022. The conference was chaired by Lam Thi Huong Thanh, permanent Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Council.
