(BGO) – Because many industrial parks in Bac Giang province have been fully occupied, the provincial People’s Committee has passed the resolution draft for the subdivision planning project to build three industrial parks covering over 500 hectares to satisfy investors.
Particurlaly, the province zones off areas to build Chau Minh – Bac Ly – Huong Lam industrial park (Hiep Hoa district), extended Yen Lu industrial park (Yen Dung district) and Quang Chau 2 industrial park (Viet Yen district).

Chau Minh – Bac Ly – Huong Lam industrial park is located in the commune and town of Chau Minh, Bac Ly and Huong Lam. As schedule, it will be a centralized industrial park with synchronous and modern technical infrastructure.
The industrial park expects to attract various fields of agro-forestry and food processing, mechanical and manufacturing, electronic component production among other supporting industries that apply advanced technology and is friendly to the environment. Total planning area covers about 222.2 hectares.
On April 11, the provincial People’s Committee issued decision to approve for the subdivision planning project to build extended Yen Lu industrial park. Accordingly, the research area for planning covers about 208.14 hectares in Yen Lu commune, including 204.85 hectares of industrial land and 3.29 hectares of land outside the industrial park (traffic and residential area).
The project aims to build a general industrial park with diveser careers, high technology and industries without environment pollution. It plans to attract industries in line with the provincial industrial orientation.
Quang Chau 2 industrial park is located in Quang Chau and Van Trung communes with total research area of 119.28 hectares (117.65 hectare of industrial land and over 1.6 hectare for traffic and residential land). The industrial park is designed as a centralized one to lure various fields of investment.

According to the provincial Industrial Park Management Board, the province now has 9 industrial parks whose investment policies were approved by the Prime Minister on total planning area of 1,967 hectares. Four industrial parks were fully occupied, consisting of Dinh Tram, Quang Chau, Van Trung and Song Khe – Noi Hoang industrial park). Meanwhile, 95 percent of Hoa Phu industrial park and over 74 percent of Vietnam Korean industrial park were occupied.
Yen Son – Bac Lung industrial park (300 hectares), Phuc Son industrial park (124.94 hectares) and Vietnam – Korean industrial park (148 hectares) are under verification by the Ministry of Planning and Investment then submit for Prime Minister’s approval.
As of March 15, the province attracted 855 million USD of investment and 11 foreign direct investment with total registered capital of 790 million USD, making 7.6 fold increase year on year.
