Yen The festival 2021 to feature various attractive activities

(BGO) – The People’s Committee in Yen The district (Bac Giang province) has issued the Plan to organize Yen The Festival in 2021 to celebrate 137 anniversary of Yen The Uprising (March 16, 1884 - 2021). 

Accordingly, the festival will last for 3 days from March 15 – 17, 2021 with the ritual and festive parts. The ritual part includes various activities of sacrificing ceremony, incense offering ceremony at the front yard of Hoang Hoa Tham hero monument, fish releasing ceremony at the lake....

The festive part features procession ahead and during the festival opening ceremony at Yen The Uprising National Special Relic site, including Quan Lon temple festival, Cau Khoai temple festival (Tam Hiep commune) on March 5 – 6, 2021; Dinh Thep communal house festival (Tan Hiep commune) on March 13, 2021; incense offering ceremony at Leo pagoda in Phon Xuong town on March 15, 2021; Ky Dong festival (Hong Ky commune) on April 5, 2021...

Besides, various culture and sport exchange activities will be held to meet the demand of enjoying the spiritual cultural values for the residents and visitors.

The Opening ceremony and Art show are scheduled in the morning of March 16, 2021 by the joint collaboration of the district Center of Culture, Information and Sports and provincial art troops.

The Organization Board will open the Exhibition House for Yen The Uprising for visitors during the festivals while welcoming guests at The temple, Ba Na temple, Leo pagoda, Thong pagoda, Dinh Thep communal house, Cau Khoai temple...

To make thorough preparation for the festival, Yen The district has instructed the competent agencies to review all the locations and facilities to serve the festive activities, ensure the public security and order, food hygiene and safety, environment sanitation...

The culture, sports and tourism activities will be held during the festival that ensure the diversification with local unique and attractive identities, safety, impression to create joy atmosphere for the residents and visitors.
