Speaking at the finale, Le Xuan Son, Editor-in-Chief of Tien Phong Newspaper, emphasised that the organisers have made great efforts to ensure that the most prestigious beauty contest in Vietnam, with a 32-year tradition, would be uninterrupted due to difficulties caused by the Covid-19 epidemic.

With the theme of “A Decade of Beauty,” the final night of Miss Vietnam 2020 brought about youthful and modern performances alongside traditional cultural beauties, inspired by the nation’s intangible cultural heritages that have been recognised by UNESCO.

At the final, 35 contestants competed in four traditional performances of ao dai (Vietnamese traditional costume), swimsuits, evening gowns and the Q&A round.
