Exhibition honours revolutionary contributors

An exhibition will be held at the Vietnam Exhibition Centre for Culture and Arts in Hanoi, from July 24-27, to honour and pay respect to fallen and wounded soldiers and revolutionary contributors.

The exhibition will be divided into two sections, with the first featuring books and articles highlighting the great attention paid by President Ho Chi Minh and Party and State leaders to fallen and wounded soldiers and revolutionary contributors as well as art and literary works on revolutionary contributors and propaganda paintings.

The exhibition will take place from July 24-27.

Meanwhile, the second part introduces activities by public security forces, Hanoi authorities and people, paying respect to fallen and wounded soldiers and the people who sacrificed and made great contributions to the cause of national liberation and safeguarding.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism assigned the Vietnam Exhibition Centre for Culture and Arts to host and coordinate with relevant agencies to organise this exhibition.

Some 1.2 million USD to be given to national contributors
(BGO)- On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day July 27 (1949-2022), the provincial People’s Committee of Bac Giang province spent the budget to present gifts to more than 34,800 national contributors.  
 
Creating motivation for national contributors to rise up
(BGO) - Along with full and timely implementation of preferential policies according to regulations of the Party and State, authorities at all levels, agencies and localities in Bac Giang province have been mobilizing resources to support people who rendered services to the nation to build and repair houses. This is a practical activity to help wounded and sick soldiers, relatives of martyrs, and Agent Orange victims to ease their difficulties and stabilize their lives.
 
Cemetery caretaker pays tribute to his comrades
(BGO)- Going through the wars with tens of wounds on his body, veteran Duong Nguyen Thong (born in 1943) in Thanh Mai residential group, Da Mai ward, Bac Giang city, Bac Giang province thought he was so lucky to return his homeland. 20 years caring the martyrs cemetery voluntarily is a way to show his gratitude to his comrades who sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the nation.
 
Incense offered at Vietnam Laos International Martyrs Cemetery
(BGO) – On the occasion of 75th anniversary of War Invalid and Martyrs’ Day of Vietnam (July 27), the Women’s Union cooperated with the Military Command in Bac Giang province to visit and present gifts to 21 Vietnamese Heroic Mother in the province from July 8 – 13, each consisting of one million VND, confectionary and a set of silk clothes.
 
Quang Phu Cau incense-making village
Before the bulletin comes to an end, let’s join us in a visit to Quang Phu Cau village, an incense making village in Ung Hoa district in Hanoi. Everywhere in the village have blazed pink and red of incense sticks.
