Da Nang to set off fireworks to welcome Lunar New Year

The central coastal city of Da Nang will set off fireworks at midnight on January 21 to welcome the Lunar New Year 2023, announced on December 19 by the municipal People’s Committee.

Accordingly, 15-minute firework displays will be organised in three places, including the Nguyen Van Troi bridge, the Phuong Trang trade complex, and the administrative centre of Hoa Vang district.

The fireworks display on New Year's Eve aims to create a joyful atmosphere and promote the image of Da Nang city to the locals and visitors.

The municipal People’s Committee has asked functional agencies to make thorough preparations, to ensure social order and security and traffic safety during the fireworks shows.

The city’s Police was requested to work with its Military High Command to ensure safety at the three host venues.
