The music video focuses on the message of love and the love stories of various people of different ages with its highlight being a proposal.

"All sincere love is appreciated, regardless of gender, age and circumstances," Phuc said.

He scores with his powerful and emotional vocal style, while the three members of 911 are calm and mature.

The feedback for the song has been positive, with people commenting on social media that it makes them want to fall in love and get married.

Singer Hoa Minzy said the message of the original version is intact and the singers hit the high notes smoothly.

Phuc said he did not have much time to prepare for the project.

In just around a month nearly 100 people worked on it and shot the video in many locations.

"I have learned many new things and hope to take Vietnamese music to international audiences."

911 members recalled the first time they came to Vietnam many years ago and were surprised by how much people in the country loved "I Do."

So they were excited to do a new version of the song with a young Vietnamese artist, they said.

Phuc, 27, burst onto the scene in 2015 by winning singing show The Voice of Vietnam. Best known for his emotional ballads, he has since delivered a number of hits.

Pop group 911 was formed in 1995 by Lee Brennan, Jimmy Constables and Spike Dawbarn. It has released three studio albums and one greatest hits album, all of which were successful. It split in late 1999 and reunited in 2008 and 2012.

The group has performed twice in Vietnam, in 2019 in Ho Chi Minh City and last year in Hanoi.
