Prime Minister recognizes Xuong Giang Victory Relic Site as national special relic

(BGO) – According to the Department of Cultural Heritage (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism), the Prime Minister on December 31, 2019 signed the Decision No. 1954 to recognize Xuong Giang Victory Relic Site in Bac Giang city (Bac Giang province) as the national special relic. 

It is a worthy result for the great efforts made by the government and residents in Bac Giang city in particular and Bac Giang province in general in preserving and promoting its value.

Especially, the province will organize the Opening Ceremony for 2020 Culture and Tourism Week with several cultural activities, including the festival to mark the 593 Anniversary of Xuong Giang Victory, receive the recognition title of national special relic to launch the chain of diverse cultural, sports and tourism activities to promote the image of the land, people and cultural heritage in the northern province of Bac Giang to the visitors.

Other recognized relics included Chi Lang Historical Relic in Huu Lung district (Lang Son province); Non Nuoc Moutain Landscape and Historical Relic in Ninh Binh city (Ninh Binh province); Mu Cang Chai Terrace Field Landscape and Historical Relic in Mu Cang Chai district (Yen Bai province); Sam Son Landscape and Historical Relic in Sam Son city (Thanh Hoa province); Dai Phung Communal House Artistic Architecture Relic in Dan Phuong district and Hai Ba Trung Temple – Pagoda – Communal House Artistic Architecture Relic in Hai Ba Trung district (Hanoi city).

In 10 recognition periods, there are 112 relics nationwide, in which 4 relics in Bac Giang province were recognized national special relic.

HCMC church recognized as historic relic
Ho Chi Minh City authorities have conferred the status of historic relic on the Congregation of the Holy Cross Lovers and Thu Thiem Church in District 2.
 
Thu Thiem Catholic Church to be preserved as national relic
The Thu Thiem Catholic Church complex will be preserved as a national relic under the Cultural Heritage Law, an official said at a meeting in Ho Chi Minh City on November 12.
 
Over 500 foreign tourists visit Xuong Giang Victory Historical Relic Site
(BGO) – Since early this year, Xuong Giang Victory Historical Relic Site in Bac Giang city has welcomed over 45,000 tourist arrivals, up 30 percent comparing to the same period last year.
 
Deputy PM bestows Cham tower national special relic title
Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam presented a certificate recognising Nhan Tower in the central coastal province of Phu Yen as a national special relic site to local authorities during the opening of a festival of ethnic Cham culture on August 19.
 
Launching art show for visitors at Xuong Giang Victory Relic Site
(BGO)- The Center of Culture, Information and Sports in Bac Giang city (Bac Giang province) in August 15 launched the art show for visitors at Xuong Giang Victory Historical Relic Site.
