Ao dai festival honors traditional culture and beauty of Vietnamese women

(BGO) - On April 26, the Bac Giang provincial Committee for the Advancement of Women cooperated with the provincial Women’s Union to launch Ao dai festival and award Photo contest “Charming female trade unionists and labours in ao dai” in 2022. 

The event helps affirm and honor the value of Vietnamese traditional Ao dai, deeply communicate fine quality of Vietnamese women “Confidence, dignity, loyal and grateful, competent” while stimulating women generations to overcome in life and work as well as realize gender equality.

Permanent Vice Secretary of Bac Giang provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of provincial People’s Council Le Thi Thu Hong, Chairman of provincial Labour Federation Doan Van Canh and sponsor award special prize and reward of Photo contest “Charming female trade unionists and labours in ao dai” in 2022 to Than Thi Hoa, Youth Union at Ngoc Thien No.2 Primary School (Labour Federation in Tan Yen district).
