Building transport infrastructure is driving force for socio-economic growth

(BGO) – Implementing transport planning in 2021 – 2030 period, Bac Giang province focuses on investing to develop transport infrastructure to meet the demand for travelling, connecting among regions in and outside the province and accelerate the socio-economic development in localities.

The province has invested in external traffic routes connecting national highway 31 with Hanoi - Lang Son expressway in the area of Luc Nam and Luc Ngan districts; traffic routes connecting Son Dong district with Quang Ninh province; routes connecting Luc Nam and Yen Dung districts with Hai Duong province; districts of Hiep Hoa - Viet Yen (in the economic driving force region of Bac Giang with Bac Ninh and Thai Nguyen provinces; connecting Yen The district with Thai Nguyen and Lang Son provinces.

The intersection connecting National Highway 17 with industrial parks and Bac Giang city is located in Tien Phong commune (Yen Dung district).

In addition, the province also invests in roads connecting inter-regional and inter-district traffic axes, connecting main traffic routes with industrial zones, clusters, general ports, tourist sites and attractions...

The construction of provincial road 291 started in September 2021 with 3 construction packages. Its total length is 16.3 km, passing through Yen Dinh, Tuan Dao communes and Tay Yen Tu township (Son Dong district). The road is now completed.

Nhu Nguyet Bridge is 445 m long and 16 m wide. The path at both ends of the bridge totally stretches about 800 m. Total investment is more than 456 billion VND (19.3 million USD).

Dong Viet Bridge connecting the two provinces of Bac Giang and Hai Duong with a total investment of nearly 1,500 billion VND (63.6 million USD) is being accelerated.

Bac Giang urges to transport lychee by train
